Music - Movie Making Module

For music this term 7/8 Sh and 7/8Ds have been filming movies. In my group including Anneleise, Keyana, Brianna, Jaz and Rory we have been filming the three little pigs.

These are the roles -
Jaz - Narrator
Brianna - Camera Man
Chloe ( Me ) - Little pig
Anneleise - Little pig
Keyana - Little pig
Rory - Big Bad Wolf

Our movie is a remake of the three little pigs but it isn't the exact same there are changes. We started off with getting an idea of who was going to do what. After we figured that out we started to write our script it took a lot of work because we kept making mistakes but it ended up working out and we practised our scripts a couple of periods before filming. While filming it got a little messy and we haven't filmed our whole movie yet but still working on it. At the moment we are working on finishing the movie and get it ready for Jaz to edit and get it ready for presenting.

We will keep you updated, once our movie is ready for presenting we will post it for you to look and see what we have been upto....

Bye for now :)

Tuesday 26th Reflection - Playback

What game did I play today?
We played the aspects of Ki O Ma.

How Did It Relate To Ki O Rahi?
It used some of the same equipment and similar rules.

What game did I find challenging and why?
The "Relay Game" because we had to try run from one side of the court to the other continuously and help your team get to 100 laps.

One of the goals was to listen... what skills do you need to be a good listener?
Stay focused on what the teacher is saying, ignore the people around you that are trying to talk to you.

What communication skills do I need when playing Ki O Ma
You need a clear and loud voice when calling for the ball because it can get very crowded.

What skill do I need to work on for my next lesson?
Trying to step the player from the other team that is trying to touch me.

What is a personal goal I want to work on today?
Work on my aiming when throwing the ball to one of the players on my team and make sure everyone in my team gets a go with the ball.

P.E

P.E

12,2,19

What did you play today?
Silly banana and bench ball, silly banana was a warm up game.

Which one did you enjoy the most today and why?
Bench ball because it was more competitive and I am a competitive person also there was a lot more action and you got to be more involved in the game.

What game did you find most challenging and why?
Bench ball because you had to try your best to grab the ball, defend and try get the ball to the person on your bench.

One of the goals was to listen ... what skills do you need to have to listen?
Focus on the teacher, if your friends or anyone around you are trying to talk to you ignore them and be silent.

What communication skills did I need to have when playing bench ball ?
Calling out for people in your team to pass the ball to you like in every other ball game and having a loud voice when calling for the ball.

What skills do I need to work on for my next lesson?
Better aiming when chucking the ball to my other team mates.

Three ways I will show commitment while playing the game -
I will show commitment by

  • Don't be scared to fail in front of people.
  • I will try my hardest until I get it right.
  • Making sure I bring my inhaler or any medication if I need it.

Passion Projects

Touch Tournament

My passion project is about Community Sports and my in group are Me, Jaz, Brianna, Mikayla and Tanaya. we are doing a touch tournament with some primary schools.

We have done the plan, script, spreadsheet and a poster.

That helps us because we are ready to get started when we have our tournament because then we will know what we are doing.

During these two periods we finished our script for our advertisement, we also finished our plan that will help us to get students to who are interested in playing touch and to help them sign up.
We expect to have our advertisement video finished and ready to show people by period 5 on Thursday.

This photo of us is when we had to present what we had done in three periods of passion projects.

Attitude

Today two members from attitude named Emma & Rory. They came into talk to our year 7 and 8 students about different topics like technology, friendships, relationships, health, family issues, drugs and a lot more. When they first started the session they introduced themselves and told us what they are all about.

Emma told a story about the time she got cat fished in high school, so she had a huge crush on this guy called josh. She wanted his number so her friend got "his number" for her. After school she got the courage to message "him." Soon after a couple weeks of messaging she got more courage to actually tell "josh" that she likes him. He responds later with 3 laughing crying emojis and after that he sent another two emojis that were a cat and a fish.
The lesson I learnt with this is don't trust everyone you talk to behind the screen even if you think that you know them.

Emma started talking to us about tackling technology, that's basically about.
Cyber safety
Cyber Bullying
Do's & Dont's
Deleting

And a lot more about the internet and technology.
