Heroes and Villains - Timeline
Here is my timeline on Emmeline Pankhurst.
I decided to study about Pankhurst because she lived her whole life fighting for Women's Rights which amazes me because no matter what challenges and obstacles she faced she always had hope and never gave up. She inspires me to fight for what I believe in.

No Egg Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins - Home Economics
Today i'm writing about how banana chocolate chip muffins went.
Here's the recipe and how it went!
Ingredients:
- 2 c self raising flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 c caster sugar
- 100g butter (melted)
- 1/2 c Chocolate chips
- 1 c milk
- 1 c mashed bananas
Instead of egg my group used egg replacement with 30ml of water.
Method:
- Mix flour, salt, caster sugar and chocolate bits in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl melt butter then add milk and egg, beat to combine.
- Mash and measure the bananas and add to liquid ingredients.
- Tip liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and fold carefully, do not over mix.
- Carefully spoon the muffin batter into prepared muffin tins, line with paper muffin cases.
- Bake at 220 degree Celsius for 12-15 minutes, test to check if the muffin is cooked and then cool for 2-3 mins before removing from pans.
Here is the finished product.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies
This week in home economics we made chocolate chip cookies, here is the process and ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 100 g butter
- 1/2 c chelsea white sugar
- 1/2 c chelsea soft brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 1/2 c flour
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 c chocolate chips
We made 12 cookies instead of 15 as the recipe said.
Method:
1 - Preheat oven to 180 degree.
2 - Melt butter and add both sugars then cream together in a bowl.
3 - Beat in eggs and vanilla essence.
4 - Mix in the dry ingredients along with the chocolate chips.
5 - Roll into medium sized balls (make sure the mixture is not too wet)
6 - Put on the prepared baking tray and flatten slightly with a fork.
7 - Place in the oven and cook for 8-10 minutes.
Instead of melting the butter to liquid it is better to soften so you can cream the butter with the sugars properly.
My groups cookies turned out very good, the size was perfect and they all looked even. They tasted amazing but I think we should've cooked them for a couple more minutes because the inside tasted a bit raw but still enjoyable.
Here are some photos of the process and the finished product.
