Kind of like a bell, this sound has been played since the mid 1800's which is a long time before WW1, so this song has been used for many different things even before WW1.
What does this song represent?
- This song represents the fallen soldiers who have gone before us, it's a way we remember them and what they have done for our nation.
During the dawn services it is in a dark setting (dawn) because that is when our soldiers arrived at Gallipoli.
Hi Chloe!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your blog post it was very informative and I was intrigued by the words you used. I liked how you added a video of the song so it would be helpful for the viewers who have never heard the song. Honestly it seems like there is nothing you need to improve on :)
