Taha Tinana - Well firstly for your physical health it's crucial to eat healthy and have a maintained diet if you want to have a good physical well being. Also if you're goal is to try be fit then healthy eating helps your fitness by giving you more energy and protein.
Taha Hinengaro - For your Mental and Emotional well being it isn't the exact same. Healthy eating affects your Taha Hinengaro by what you eat when you're feeling different emotions like if your sad sometimes you eat unhealthy foods to make you feel better but if you replace unhealthy foods with the healthy foods it will help you from affecting your physical well being and it can give you more energy and motivation too.
Taha Whanau - As for your Social well being eating healthy isn't always what you have to do for example, if your gathering with your friends for lunch or breakfast you would usually like to enjoy take out or sugary foods. Of course those foods are delicious but if you eat healthy food whilst hanging out with your friends it can encourage them to healthily.
Taha Wairua - Eating healthy foods could be apart of your religion or culture. It's good to follow your beliefs about what foods you eat Your spirituality can be significantly affected by the level of your energy. In fact, the lack of energy is one of the reasons for you to abandon good deeds or to engage in any beneficial things.
We also created puppets for a performance we had to do about healthy eating.
First we planned on a piece of paper what we wanted our puppet to look like, then we chose our materials and got started.
My idea was to make a fruit monster called frank, he has different types of fruits on him. He is like the cookie monster but a healthy version.
Here's a photo of our puppets and me, May and Kyla's performance.
To improve my Hauora through out the holidays i'll try to not be on my devices all day, go for a run each day and spend time with my family and friends.
